Best Starlink Case in Switzerland

I found the perfect box to store my Gen 2 Starlink in at Jumbo today.
It’s the “Utz Rako Oecoplan Behälter Box Dunkelgrau | 60 × 40 × 32.5 cm | 60 l” or “Utz Rako Oecoplan Boîte de rangement Gris Foncé | 60 × 40 × 32.5 cm | 60 l”.

Make sure you pick up a lid for them as well (DE / FR).

This is by no means watertight although I might add a bit of a seal around the top as the lid clips do quite a good job at holding it shut. I did choose this version as it doesn’t have the holes for the handles meaning it will do a bit better at keeping everything inside nice and dry.

It even fits the original cardboard protective inserts nicely. All you have to do is trimm off these two bits from each side

Then you can place the insert straight into the box including the cables and router

Place your dishy on top - the mast will push slightly against the side of the box securing it in place.

Place the base on top - I put the small piece of cardboard in between.

And finally add the top insert. This still leaves about 7cm in hight for other things you might need to pack.

And now I have a secure way of transporting Dishy in our campervan.
